16-Bit, 200ksps ADC in a 10-Pin MSOP
The MAX1162BEUB+T is a 16-bit successive-approximation ADC from Analog Devices (Maxim) that samples at up to 200ksps from a single +5V analog supply. A separate digital supply from +2.7V to +5.25V lets it interface directly to 3.3V logic without level shifters, and the 10-pin MSOP footprint keeps the converter close to the sensor.
The internal track-and-hold amplifier accepts signals up to a 4MHz input bandwidth over the 0 to VREF range. Automatic power-down and a fast 1.1us wake-up bring supply current down to 140uA at 10ksps and 0.1uA in shutdown, which suits battery-powered instruments and multiplexed industrial front ends.
