Automotive Front Door Device with CAN FD and LIN

The L99DZ300GTR is the front door counterpart of the STMicroelectronics door zone family: one LQFP-64 device that combines the bus interfaces, the power management and the actuator output stage of a front door module. CAN FD and LIN physical layers are both embedded, so the same hardware serves a zonal gateway node and a conventional LIN door node without a second transceiver on the board.

The output stage is sized for a fully loaded front door. Two large half bridges cover the window lift and the latch, rated 7.5 A at 100 mOhm and 6 A at 150 mOhm, followed by two 3 A half bridges at 300 mOhm and two 0.5 A half bridges at 1600 mOhm for mirror axis, mirror fold and small actuators. A configurable high-side driver delivers up to 1.5 A at 300 mOhm or 0.35 A for lighting and handle loads. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified and reports open load, short circuit and thermal faults to the module controller.
